CreateA

CreateA is a contemporary arts company based in Bendigo, Victoria.

We create new work across diverse visual and performance based practices. CreateA was established in 2002 with the purpose of providing opportunities for people with disability to engage with contemporary arts practice and to present their work publicly.

Since then we have developed partnerships and working relationships with artists, arts organisations and community groups that are interested in developing inclusive practices that represent the diversity of our community.

We partner with Bendigo Venues & Events who provide us with a working theatre in the Old Fire Station, View Street.

Golden City Support Services has acted as auspice for CreateA Events Network since its establishment. Golden City Support Services has a commitment to community-based support that enables individuals to be engaged and connected with their local (or identified) community.
