Mr. Linton Ashley has been appointed to a newly created position to oversee the delivery of services at GCSS. Previously, a number of managers reported to the Chief Executive Officer, each responsible for an area of GCSS service delivery, but our NDIS participants and other customers now come to us wanting a range of services and in response to this; a General Manager – Operations position has been created, replacing the more programme or geographic based manager positions.
The agency undertook a recruitment campaign in November 2019. GCSS has a reputation for delivering innovative, effective services; so the opportunity to come and join the GCSS team attracted a lot of interest.
The successful candidate Mr. Linton Ashely, was chosen from a very competitive field.
Linton is a current GCSS employee, who up until this appointment, held the position of Practice & Outcomes Manager. Linton has also held positions as Practice Coach and has had extensive experience in supporting GCSS staff achieve quality outcomes for those we support.
Linton joined GCSS back in 2008, coming to us from Telstra. This was a real career change for Linton, but as Linton reflects – at GCSS he found the career that was waiting for him.
Linton has 11 years of, on the ground, practice coaching and leadership experience in providing disability support services. Linton has management and human resources qualifications and has completed advanced training through the prestigious US based Institute for Applied Behavioural Analysis.
We congratulate Linton on his appointment to this important new senior position and Linton looks forward with enthusiasm to supporting our front line leaders and staff, who in turn support our NDIS participants and customers to achieve their life goals.
