Yvette recently finished a fundraiser walk supporting her team members to walk 150km for the Epilepsy Foundation. With the recent miserable weather, Yvette wisely took her walk to the Bendigo Marketplace, doing laps of the building.
Together the Team (Darren, Ben and Yvette) raised $1030 during the fundraiser, which is an absolutely sensational effort.
Yvette tells me that aside from fundraising for Epilepsy, she’s absolutely “flat out”: Volunteering at her local Vinnies, participating in the CreateA Drama group and the Choir, and she’s thinking about going back to Swimming. She’s also recently completed the steps so that she can begin volunteering in Aged Care. “And I’ll probably do [the fundraiser] again next year.”
Yvette might just be the busiest person I’ve met.
“When my Mum and Nan talk to me, they always say ‘We’ve got make an appointment to see you’!”.
